How to access to Les Arcs / Bourg Saint Maurice ?

Whether you travel by air, land or sea, our mountain resort is easy to reach. The most important thing is that you make your way up the mountain ! Because we love our mountains and are mindful of the well-being of all, access within the resorts is reserved to pedestrians only.

By car, take the motorway to Albertville, then follow the dual carriageway as far as Moûtiers, a pretty little town at the foot of the mountains. Carry on along the RN 90 to Bourg-St-Maurice. Access to the high altitude resorts of les Arcs is via a wide road from which you can start to admire the scenery.

Travelling by train ? No problem ! There are direct high speed TGV trains from Paris and Lille and direct sleeper trains from most of the main cities in France. If you are coming from London, the Eurostar will take you directly to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, as will the Thalys train from Amsterdam and Brussels. All of the European cities lead to Bourg-Saint-Maurice !

Before you head off to the high altitude resorts, discover Bourg-Saint-Maurice, thanks to the Edelweiss tourist train. The train picks up passengers in front of the Tourist Office.

To get from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Arc 1600, nothing could be easier ! Use the funicular railway. It will take you up to Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes. It is a unique method of transport and offers views over the Haute-Tarentaise region ! Departure point behind the SNCF train station. Free of charge for Club des sports card holders. Ticket offices at the funicular departure point.

If you prefer to travel by bus... the Autocars Martin bus company will also take you up to les Arcs, autocars-martin.com, tel. +33 (0)4 79 07 04 49. Finally, to get from 1600 to 1800, 1950, 2000 and vice versa, regular free shuttle buses operate from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm.

From les Arcs 1950 to les Arcs 2000, use the cabriolet (gondola lift) and travel at one with nature !
